Strands Unlimited is a word game that features the word search form. Players are given different letters and the goal is to make different words and find the Spangram or the word theme of the puzzle.
Strands was created by The New York Times and released on March 4, 2024. The game has rapidly captured the attention of word enthusiasts. It introduces a new twist to word games in general. It combines the concept of word search and puzzle game.
Strands Unlimited is displayed on a six-by-eight grid on the right side. On the left side of the playing field, you will see the Today's theme
The goal of the game is to find hidden words as well as uncover the theme of the puzzle. You must find all of the theme words from the letters on the 6x8 grid. Just connect adjacent letters to make words.
In case you find a word that is unrelated to the puzzle, you can get a hint!
Each puzzle in the game contains a "spangram". It's the word that connects the grid. It can be either top to bottom or left to right.
In this unlimited version, you can play as many puzzles a day as you want. Instead of only one puzzle per day, the challenge is endless!
